Murray's Run April 2002 Francescos Seafood Dinner Woke up to find a sunny day, asked Bob & Lyn Sauers to come over and discuss our future Show & Shine event at Norwest Homecentre. We had a lovely BBQ lunch then got ready to drive to McDonalds Eastern Creek to meet up with other club members going to Francescos. Eventually they all arrived and so we took off up the Expressway to the Penrith exit and then out The Northern Rd to Richmond Rd, through Windsor and across the Hawkesbury River,finally turned left immediately after the Bridge into the Restaurant where we met up with more club members. Altogether, we had a total of 46 people, 18 Vets, 2 Comaro's & 2 shopping trolleys (one being Fred Ogdens new JAG "nice car Fred"…) Murray went into total overload as he had only booked for 30 people, but he changed the booking on arrival to 36, only to have 10 more people arrive. This is really a great turnout of members & guests. We invited a great group from the Comaro Club to join us (Garry met them at the Parkes Easter Venue) , everybody thoroughly enjoyed the food & the venue, everybody was happy. Lucky the restaurant had an abundance of prawns, oysters,crabs, pavlova & "JELLY & Icecream" to most peoples delight. The
only disappointing thing on the night was, because of the extra people
(which was fantastic) but the restaurant was fully booked "upstairs"
so , nine of our party dined downstairs in the bistro. To all the people who attended, thank you very much for making our night a HUGE SUCCESS…… Bye for now, Murray
